After the successful design of Raasta Bistro in Baner, we embarked on a new venture—a rooftop bistro atop Dorabjee Mall. With a blank canvas of an open terrace, we meticulously analyzed functions and services, considering the constraints of the roof slab. Key design decisions included:

Kitchen Enclosure: We covered the kitchen area using lightweight materials for practical reasons.
Semi-Covered Seating: Solar roof panels partially covered the seating area, providing shade while maintaining an open feel.
Floor Treatment: Since the floor couldn’t be modified, we painted it with epoxy to achieve a sophisticated stone-like appearance.

Brand Identity: The design aligned with the brand’s image—quirky, trendy, and classy.

Connectivity: We seamlessly connected the bistro to adjacent restaurants, enhancing accessibility.

Rooftop Edge Decks: Utilizing the rooftop edge, we created seating decks, which quickly became popular among couples.

Interior Lounge Spaces: The interior lounge areas emerged as some of the best spots to hang out.

Overall, our design achieved a harmonious blend of functionality, aesthetics, and brand identity.
